David Horwitz
Inducted in 2011
David Horwitz is a photographer based in
Tucson, Arizona; and has been photographing
blues people all around the country. He
has had his photos published in Blues Access
Magazine, Blues Blast Magazine online, Blues
Revue Magazine, Blue Suede News, Living Blues,
Feelin’ Good (Italy), Detour (England) and BLOCK
Magazine (Netherlands). He has been Editor
of Blues Beat (Tucson Blues Society) and
associated with multiple Blues music newsletter
publications.
Some of Horwitz's other accomplishments; he has
served as an officer and/or board member on The
Tucson Blues Society and Southern Arizona Blues
Heritage Foundation, produced and organized
talent for Tucson Blues Society events and has
been a judge for Blues Challenge for Southern
Arizona Blues Heritage Foundation.
David Horwitz passed away on July 28, 2015.
